InsightIQ presents a synchronized snapshot of the patient’s condition. It organizes and presents on-time information from standalone medical devices, clinical applications, and electronic medical records*. Most importantly, it translates data streams into actionable information based on a health care provider’s established protocols, which allows clinicians to choose wisely and provide patients the right care, at the right time, every time. A user-friendly platform with integrated clinical protocols and visibility provides a pathway to improved compliance and reduced variation in care.

A configurable solution to enable healthcare providers to improve quality of care and reduce costs

  • Aggregates data from systems, including EHRs, to paint a comprehensive picture of the patient based on the care provider’s desired protocols
  • Continuous surveillance and visual display of a defined patient data
  • Allows clinicians to prioritize patients deemed most critical by digitizing required standards of care and early warning scores
  • Generates actionable insights to deliver responsive, compliant care across all care areas – from bedside to remote monitoring
  • Drives collaborative improvements to eliminate penalties from the Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, decrease hospital complications, reduce the length of stay and remedy “click fatigue”, thereby, positively impacting patient outcomes.

Better Care

Continuous monitoring of patient populations on a single platform allows clinicians to make informed decisions on rapid response for groups identified as at-risk patients and allows them to potentially prevent unexpected escalation-of-care.

A single screen can also help clinicians comply with established clinical protocols. Research shows that every 10% increase of compliance with recommended care reduces the risk of death by 14%5.

Adopting innovative and cutting-edge technologies like InsightIQ provides clinicians with improved access to data, enabling them the ability to spend more time providing direct care to patients.

InsightIQ screen for patient data

Patient View

The patient view displays the complete picture of a selected patient’s  clinical updates, notifications, and automated protocol management and visual cues (color-coded information) to help the health care team prioritize patient assessments and interventions. This single platform can help care providers drive compliance with unit-specific standards of care and provides them information to reduce avoidable escalations.

InsightIQ screen for unit data

Unit View

The unit view is the initial landing page for clinicians. Patients can be filtered or prioritized based on provider’s established priorities like Sepsis, Ventilation, NEWS score, etc. This Unit view of a 15-bed ICU shows four patients identified by the care facility’s preset thresholds as requiring attention for possible Sepsis or Ventilation issues. Patient tiles or beds requiring intervention are highlighted in red and displayed along the top based on the criteria established by the care facility. Clicking on any of the beds will take you to a detailed patient view.

Multiple facility data from hospital patients

Facility View

The facility view helps the clinicians visualize the patients, identified as critical throughout the hospital system, identified by the care facility’s preset thresholds, based on the facility’s desired criteria, such as an early warning score system. The clinician can adjust the threshold for the early warning score alerts based on the patient population. This enterprise view shows multiple patients who have screened positive with a national early warning score value of 4+.

InsightIQ offers software bundles for patient surveillance

The true power within InsightIQ are the digitized peer-reviewed protocols and bundles of care that can be selected and configured for each unit across the hospital – from Emergency, Intensive Care, Maternity and Rapid Response areas. Translating data into actionable information enabling clinicians the information they need to provide the right care, at the right time, every time. Examples of protocols established by care facilities of DECISIO’s clients include:
